Happy St. Pat's Birthday, Ellie Grace!

 Do you realize that in our family, YOU are the beginning of our "next generation"? Your heritage, although a real American melting pot, is not predominantly Irish, but I am of the understanding that the Irish are a people of passion, stubbornness, and great personal charm and warmth -- loquacious with a vivacious spirit. You are all that ! Did you know that, in your genealogy, there is a story recorded from a ship that had come over from England. While two men were arguing about who was going to get off the boat first, one of your female ancestors slipped by them, jumped in, swam and waded to shore, and became the first Englishwoman to step foot in Connecticut! May you always possess that kind of spunk! We are thankful to our cousins Barbara and Kathy, who have painstakingly and passionately researched and gathered our genealogy, and also to ALL that have come before us who have faithfully written down their stories.
